The classic Apple shape is a more rounded version of the Billiard. It is a very popular style: simple and understated, and is comfortable in the hand. The Apple pipes are available in straight and bent versions with both tapered and saddle stems.
Similar styles are the Billiard (which has a cylindrical bowl), Prince (a squat Apple usually with a slightly bent stem) and the Author (a chubby Bent Apple).

Notes
-
Bit is usually (but not always) tapered.
-
Shank is round and about equal in length to the height of the bowl.
-
Bowl is rounded on the sides.
