| Zulu / Woodstock / Yacht / Yachtsman
| |
The Zulu shape combines the canted bowl of the Dublin with an 1/8 bent stem. The shape is sometimes referred to as a Woodstock, Yacht or Yachtsman. The gentle bend makes the pipe more comfortable to hold in the teeth than a straight pipe. This popular style is made by most pipmakers and is widely available on the estate market.

Notes
-
Bowl is like the one in a Dublin and canted forward.
-
Stem is bent - usually 1/8.
-
The Zulu/Woodstock differs from the Horn in that there is a definite, if not sharp, difference between the bowl and the shank that is not apparent in the Horn.
